What does treatment involve?

All treatments for laser hair removal start with an intial consultation and patch test. If you decide to have treatment with us following your initial consultation then all you need to do is to book an appointment and follow our pre-treatment guidelines. You will then be able to receive treatment using one of our lasers. We have two lasers which can be used for hair removal at the clinic, a Lynton Diolite Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) laser and a Cynosure Apogee Elite. Both lasers are highly effective, producing excellent results for hair removal.

The Cynosure Apogee Elite is one of the newest additions to the clinic and is considered to be one of the most effective lasers for hair removal currently on the market due to its ability to treat a wide range of skin types. During your treatment session, the practitioner will quickly ask you a number of questions regarding your recent medical history and you will be asked to sign a consent form. Following this, you will be asked to lie or sit down comfortably on our treatment couch where our practitioner will assess your hair.  In some cases the area may then be shaved and the practitioner will provide you with some laser safety blackout goggles which you will wear throughout your treatment.
